Straight Shooter Laser Training Setup Instructions
TV Set Up (Arcade Mode)
1. TV Set Up: Find your TV's HDMI port and switch the input to that port. Drape a sheer curtain or sheet (see recommended products below) over the screen, keeping it snug as possible.
2. Phone Set Up: Open the Straight Shooter App and select "Projector" game mode. Set your phone in the tripod and point the camera at the TV screen.
3. Connection Set Up: Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the TV and the other end into the HDMI adapter. Your phone's screen should be mirrored on the TV.
NOTE: Some android phones (Samsung in particular) have DeX mode, which alters the projection of the phone's screen. Turn this setting off if you experience trouble projecting the app to the TV.
NOTE: Some offbrand HDMI adapters do not work well with Apple products. If you experience issues with your Apple device and an adapter please consider an Apple brand adapter.

Projector Set Up (Arcade Mode)
1. Projector Set Up: Find the HDMI port on your projector and set the input to that port. There is a lot of variety in projectors (see our recommended one below), but you should try to focus and square the projector to a blank wall as best as you can. The dimmer the better.
2. Phone Set Up: Open the Straight Shooter App and select "Projector" game mode. Set your phone in the tripod and point the camera at the TV screen.
3. Connection Set Up: Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the projector and the other end into the HDMI adapter. Your phone's screen should be mirrored on the projection.

Static Set Up
1. Target Set Up: Print your choice of targets from our website or from the link in the app and hang them in a clear space. The less hanging near the targets the better.
2. Phone Set Up: Select the “Printed Targets” mode from the app and the target you printed. Set up your phone on a tripod, point it at the targets, and you’re ready!
Troubleshooting
The most common issue affecting the performance of the Straigth Shooter is the lighting. If you are experiencing trouble with laser detecton please try dimming the lights or different locations.
